  • 4th Sunday of Advent Sermon Series: The Blessing of Jesus
  • John Carter – successful surgery on last Thursday
  • Candlelight Service at Emmanuel Baptist Church was a beautiful service
  • Claudette Weston – for her service, thoughtfulness and concern for others always
  • Crystal and Vinson Wilson – on the newborn yet to arrive
  • A new member of the eLectronic cHurch – Caroline Stopyra.
 
  • Kim and Keith Phillips – for their son, Will on a speedy recovering from surgery.
  • Brenda Diggs (for her daughter, Jennifer) – pray that they find the source of her seizures.
  • Lynn Brooks – please pray for the family of David Jones (a former colleague) who did at age 63 last week.
  • Jeri Young – her cousin Nia, who turns 2 in January, has been moved from ICU. She’s also started chemotherapy, which is expected to last for several months.
  • Cornelious Flood – Please pray for Margaret Brandon,  Warren Leggett,  Carlton Leak and  Freeda’s aunt and Brenda Collins (a former colleague battling breast cancer).
  • David Lawrence – continue to pray for David, and his family, as he takes one day at a time and anticipates a good report from his doctor.
  • Wenna Phelps – for her sister (Sheila James) who is facing health challenges.

  • Katherine Rosemary Chavis service to UMMBC
 
  • Kim and Keith Phillips – for their son, Will on a speedy recovering from surgery. 
  • Claudette Weston – please pray for her daughter Caroline Stopyra
  • Betsy Annese – pray for her family. Her sister Julie Annese (67) died on Friday.
  • Brenda Diggs (for her daughter, Jennifer) – pray that they find the source of her seizures.
  • The families in Newtown as they reflect and remember on the anniversary of the school shootings last year

  • Jeri Young (for her two-year-old cousin) – recently found to have leukemia.
  • Tim Grant – Please pray for the Grant and Fuller families. My first cousin, Melissa Fuller (44 yrs.), lost her battle with breast cancer. She was a beautiful person who touched many lives even after her two year battle with cancer.  She will be missed but never forgotten.
  • Jeri Young – her cousin Nia, who turns 2 in January, has been moved from ICU. She’s also started chemotherapy, which is expected to last for several months.
  • Lynn Brooks – Please pray for my father who has lost his love of more than 31 years, Margaret (Peggy) Mary Brooks, to Alzheimer’s. They were a wonderful couple. She was a terrific mom, grandmom and friend. May her soul rest in Heaven. 
  • Richard Gottlieb –  his father, Milton Gottlieb, passed away last night week. Liana and Richard were with him, and his passing was peaceful. He was 91.
  • David Lawrence – continue to pray for David, and his family, as he takes one day at a time and anticipates a good report from his doctor.
  • Wenna Phelps – for her sister (Sheila James) who is facing health challenges.

    My job to be more enlightening and travel with my job

    For Matt to know God loves him and he is never alone
    For a little boy name Gray who is sick and his family is emotionally and spiritually tired

  • A great Thanksgiving meal and fellowship at my nephew’s (Wali) home. A new tradition and transition has started.
